Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Blu-Ray/DVD Volume 1 confirms only 13 episodes for Part 1

In the past, it was confirmed that the Bleach: TYBW anime will be 4 split cours, which means the broadcast of the roughly 52 episodes will have seasonal breaks rather than being a continuous run. It’s currently unknown if the continuation of the anime series will be labeled as Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Season 2 or Part 2. It’s also possible the continuation will not be numbered despite the broadcasting breaks.

The official website for the anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s Bleach revealed that the first Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Blu-ray and DVD collection will be released on April 26, 2023. Bleach: TYBW Volume 1 will contain the first 13 episodes of the new series, which depicts the final story arc of the Bleach manga series.

The Blu-ray full production limited edition will retail for 26, 400 yen (approximately 178.60 USD).

The DVD full production limited edition will retail for 22,000 yen (approximately 148.84 USD).

Limited edition benefits include a three-sided back case and digital jacket specification, a newly drawn jacket illustration, and a bonus booklet.

Customers who pre-order Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc I will be invited by lottery (at random) to participate in a release event commemorating the Blu-ray and DVD’s release on April 26, 2023. The event will be held nationwide in Japan at Animate (the Animate Hall Black Cast) on May 7, 2023. Voice actors who will be in attendance are Seiichi Morita who plays Kurosaki Ichigo and Noriaki Sugiyama who plays Uryu Ishida.
